I am a graduate of Ferris State University with a BS in Secondary English Education/Speech, Debate, Drama minors. I received my MA in Educational Technology from Michigan State University. I received my Emotionally Impaired Special education endorsement from Central Michigan University.
Experience
I have been teaching and tutoring for the past fifteen years. I have worked in adult education, special education, middle and high school, and also alternative education. I work well with many different types of learners. I have a son with Autism and his needs made working full time difficult. Since I love education, I work as a tutor so that I can continue working with students. I'm very strong at working with writers who struggle through tough papers. I also have a decorated history in competitive debate and public speaking.

Hobbies
I am an avid reader and writer. My favorite weekend activity is listening to great speakers give performances at debate/speech tournaments. I have three children, one with special needs.
